John Simpson took part in his first ever car race and had a great weekend
despite the core plug ejecting during qualifying. He missed the first race
even though a gallant effort was made by everyone to try and get him
on to the grid.

He qualified on pole for class C, but because he didn't make the first race,
he had to start the second from the back of the grid. He came through to
finish 1st in class and also had the fastest lap for group C.
