The race was wet and my first wet race...twas an experience. Not sure if it was helped by an inability to see through any of the windows but managed to finsh second in class after a dice with Tony Abrams for 8 laps. Slipped past the class B Tuscan on Club Straight just as another Tuscan spun and hit the barriers - I was through before the yellow flags were out - honest guv! Second race was hampered by a gear selection problem (traced to a nylon bush that had given up the ghost), but still manged a second place and the important huge grin after crossing the line. Looking forward to 7th September and Brands Hatch where the nimble M should be more competitive.
