Despite a large section of the membership being absent to attend the Cadwell trackday the meeting was well attended with 8 curvy TVRs present :

Oliver has received an invitation from the Wharfedale TR Club, who also meet at the Woolpack, to an inter-club barbeque. The pub will cook the food on a gas barbeque and the suggestion is for an evening midweek in August, as weekends are usually busy at that time of year.  We need an idea of numbers interested in order that Oliver can liaise with the TR Club.

Roger (Tallbloke) Tattersall has raised £240k through the Richard Hammond appeal for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.  He came to the meeting with news of the second air ambulance which will be stationed near Sheffield and details of the latest fundraising efforts  - the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Lottery and recycling of old Mobile Phones – details of both can be found on the website [link]
